Enoo

Funny how two very different worlds eventually meet. And who’s to say there is no mystery in the Universe? Here is one for you.

Enoo is a heck of a musician and singer today, destined to grow. He grew up in India and was deeply marked by his musical family and friends by his family and his Bollywood environment.

I, on the other hand grew up talentless in Algeria but destined to become a 3D music magazine publisher on something people could not even have imagined back then. Something called the Internet.

At age twenty when Enoo was already collecting musical achievement awards, I was a waiter in Monaco but…. Ah Ah!!! Here comes the connection. One of the guests I was waiting on was no less than Prince Karim Aga Khan……… Well, okay, not much of a connection but it struck me funny to know that today I am writing about someone with enough talent to be invited in the Arab Emirates to honor this incredible arts’ benefactor which is the Aga Khan.

Enoo does all he can to achieve this goal following in his grandfather footstep, footstep which left a deep imprint in his memory like the walks at the farm, listening to grandpa’s stories while feeding the poultry and the rabbits with the dogs jumping around and barking their heads off. . Stories about when India was part of the English empire, about the family about the singing and the drumming and the flutes and Gandhi. Enoo’s grandfather was quite a story teller, so much so that the day he took little Enoo to the Gateway of India, the majesty of the monument, what it represented combined with grandpa’s stories marked our friend so deeply that you can still feel it in his lyrics, rhythms and passion. And that was only the grand father’s influence, notwithstanding a woman who would insufflate into this musicians’ soul the deepest need to help others, feeling the most happiness while donating to others both in material things as well as in thoughts and actions of peace. That woman was an accomplished Hindustani Classical Music musicians and she was Enoo’s dearest friend and mother.

Well okay…Santana had also a part to play in Enoo’s life as he always have been an inspiration for him and although an Indian and Indhu to the core, one cannot escape what is part of one’s culture and yes, Enoo plays Cricket… but he does so with humility and a total absence of arrogance which is the main

characteristic of this very talented, Bollywood influenced and Santana inspired world class musician
